Morningside Loop many bare patches in the classic tracks. Woodland has more coverage.

A very small amount would deserve only a good score just because it is thin but those FEW spots are easily avoided. Except for the wind, fantastic skate conditions this morning. Grooming holding up; nice and firm but you can get an edge when you need/want to.

Governor Nelson is the best I've ever seen it. The ranger was out early this morning smoothing the new snow and setting tracks. Hats off to the new Ranger!

Just did the morningside loop. Nicely groomed. Tracks a little iced over in spots and grass showing in a few areas, but overall very nice conditions on a beautiful day [?]

This is actually a very good, pushing excellent. Skied Morningside and Redtail Hawk. Other than a few thin spots near creek on Morningside, very good coverage and grooming. Thin spots were holding up fine in warm sun as of 1:00p and were easy to ski around/through without issue. Thank you groomer Mike!

Groomed and gorgeous. A few bare spots in the tracks where windblown along M, also on Morningside, easy to step around.

New Park Manager Mike had finished grooming on entire trail system by about 9:30 this morning. I was the 2nd skater of the day and it was fantastic! Thanks for coming in @ 4 a.m. to plow and groom Mike; much appreciated. Best conditions of the year for skating here. I didn't stride today but could see a couple areas where the grass protrudes through the snow in the classic track so you might want to stick with waxless or skins for classic skiing. People still ignore or are oblivious to the ample signs here. Two women were going down a hill against the traffic; said they knew it but didn't turn around. A walker on the Morningside Trail refused to walk on the outer edge of the trail instead of down the middle of the fresh corduroy - leaving big boot holes all the way. I asked her politely to consider walking on the edge but she was having none of it. Not much you can do with the obstinate ones. Frustrating. Mike's good work being destroyed in short order.
