Pleasant View Golf Course Report

Green and orange loops had gotten a pass from the groomer. A few bare spots under the pines, but otherwise those loops are firm and in great shape for skating. No tracks set.

Trails were rolled and partially groomed today before equipment issues arose and grooming had to stop. No classic track has been set due to lack of adequate base. Trails are open for use however.

Groomed since the snow Sunday, but deck is in poor shape this afternoon. Multiple bare spots, some at the bottom of hills. Needs snow (or shoveling) and grooming. I bailed and went elsewhere to ski.

Pleasant view was ok tonight. No classic tracks and trails were a bit bumpy and could use grooming. However still enjoyable and was nice to be out again locally. Thanks for all the work grooming here too appreciate all you do.

I haven't experienced this yelling man first hand, but I think we should be more patient and understanding with Pleasant View. In a previous post, the staff indicated they do not receive any public funding assistance anymore. If that is the case, the fact that they still offer any groomed skiing for free is very kind and generous of them. If you're desperately wanting some skiing on the west side, just zip over to Odana or pay a little for University Ridge (if you're craving steeper downhills). Thank you to the Pleasant View staff for continuing to allow skiers to do their thing for free. I'll be sure to throw in some money in the donation box next time I'm out there.
